Couples counselling sessions with Zoe Parry are generally 70 minutes in duration and the fee is $260.  Other psychologists at our practice  offer 50 minute couples counselling sessions and the fee is $190 per session.

Fees must be paid on the day of your session and we have EFTPOS/electronic payment facilities for your convenience. We do not accept American Express. Fees are subject to change with 4 weeks notice and any changes will be published on this site.

Appointment Cancellations

We require 48 hours notice if you are unable to attend a scheduled appointment, so we have enough time to offer your appointment to other clients who may wish to attend. If you do not provide 48 hours notice, you will be charged the full session fee. Please note, Medicare rebates do not apply for late cancellation or non-attendance fees.

Please note, if you are more than 10 minutes late for your appointment, we reserve the right to reschedule the appointment (rather than offer a shorter session) if we believe rescheduling will allow us to provide better care or quality of service.  If for some reason, your practitioner is running late for your appointment, you are welcome to reschedule if you prefer. However, please be assured, your session time will not be cut short due to your practitioner running behind schedule.

Payment of accounts

Fees are payable on the day of your session. Accounts which are not paid on the day will revert to the current APS recommended fee of $246 per session.

Private Health Insurance Rebates

Many private health insurance funds provide a rebate for services provided by psychologists. We encourage you to contact your health insurance fund prior to your appointment to find out whether your policy covers services provided by your psychologist.

Can I claim a rebate from Medicare?

In order to obtain a rebate from Medicare, your General Practitioner (GP) must complete a Mental Health Treatment Plan (MHTP) with you and refer you to a Psychologist. Your GP will assess whether you are eligible for a MHTP referral and you will generally need to book a longer appointment with your GP to discuss this. If a Mental Health Treatment Plan and referral letter have been completed by your doctor, you will be able to obtain a Medicare rebate of $84.80 per psychology session for up to 10 sessions per calendar year. The Medicare rebate for sessions with Heather Lilley (Clinical Social Worker) is $74.80. You must visit your referring doctor after attending 6 sessions, to ascertain whether further sessions are appropriate and if so, you may be referred for a further 4 sessions.
