About the event

Discovering that you are an ADHDer as an adult can be many things including: validating, a relief to finally know, frustrating that you didn’t know earlier, and a catalyst for more self-discovery. We love to help neurodivergent people get to know themselves through an affirming lens with information, self-advocacy, and strategies for daily life based on personal strengths, preferences and needs. Doing this in a group setting creates possibilities for connection through ‘I do that too!’ moments and a sense of being part of the broader, ADHDer community.

This group is a way for you to meet other adult ADHDers, learn more about ADHD and how it relates to the way your brain works, and gather some helpful skills and tips.

The topics covered over the six 90-minute weekly online group sessions will be:

·  Life Post-Diagnosis (formal or self-diagnosed)

·  Relationships including friends, partners, family, acquaintances, and colleagues

·  Work/Study

·  Interests and leisure activities

·  Emotions

·  Self-identity & self-advocacy

The group will be run online and there will time to take breaks and move during the 90 minute sessions.. The groups will run on a weekly basis on Wednesday starting on 27 April 2022 from 9am to 10:30am each week.

The fee for the 6 week group program is $500, payable up front by 17 April 2022. We request that participants attend all 6 sessions in order to get the most out of the group. If you miss a session due to illness or other commitments, no refund or make-up session will be offered.

If you are someone who was either diagnosed or self-identified as an ADHDer during adulthood, this group is for you!
